The dominant paradigm of liberal capitalist individualism—that rains necropolitics down on us from above, that burrows into our value systems despite our trenchant critiques—has reached full, genocidal unbearability. In this lecture, a patchwork of "mystical atheist" figures provide a fulsome vision for ethical action that invigorates a counter-Western praxis. Drawing on the living philosophies of Zhuangzi, Nietzsche, Ziporyn and others, we explore constellations of other values, other drives that are fundamentally life-affirming rather than life-denying.
